Design for my new pinball comic
I'm doing these the day after they happen, much simpler way of doing it, and I can take a step back from the previous days events.
Daily comic Feb 2 2017
Here's some inside information, which may or may not be interesting at all. Maybe it'll be cool to read about for other cartoonist, but basically it's an overview of how I make a page for the book I'm working on right now. I chose this page because it doesn't really give anything away about the story.
Step on, using a grid I measured out earlier I drag it into place for the porportions I'm working in, then over that grid I very loosley rough in where the characters will be placed with early dialogue.
After doing the hourly comic day, I realized that I like doing auto bio comics. I guess I'll continue to post these comics semi regularly. I absolutely plan on writing more about the correlation between god and running, but it's not quite a formed idea in my head yet......
It took me several extra days to finish my hourly comic. This was the first year I did it, and it was nice to do it the day after the official day. I can't imagine why anyone would do something like this while their doing it. I guess thats why most of them are like, comics about drawing the comic and not knowing what to do with yourself between drawing it. I remember thinking this was a boring day but doing the comic made it feel like a great worthwhile day. my life is kind of boring at the moment, so this was nice to do, gave me some clarity.
